Vince Calingasan - Director of Rewind
| | Vince’s choreography is a work of art – a product of his own true ingenuity and artistry. He strives to bring music to life through dance – a blank canvas where paints combinations of steps that harmonize both lyrically and rhythmically – a skill not all choreographers possess. As a dancer, Vince applies himself to a routine with the same discipline and soulfulness that he brings to his choreography. As a student, you will learn the importance of being able to put aside your own style and allowing yourself to be molded. Embodying humility, kindness, and a sense of approachability, Vince is the perfect teacher. If you’re looking for experience, Vince is by no means lacking. At the respectable age of twenty-two he has accomplished a mountain of feats! Having choreographed, danced, and toured for huge artists such as J Wess, Israel, Jade McRae, and D’ark….you know who’s the man. His unique abilities have taken him all around Australia and even into your own homes via MTV. Vince has appeared on Israel’s “Old Skool Luv” and Jade McRae’s “So Hot Right Now” video clips. He’s even been on tour with J Wess on the “And 1 Mix Tape” Tour to Sydney and Perth….anyone for ball? It’s amazing this guy even has the time to sleep! His most recent achievements include placing 7th with his crew Rewind at the 2007 World Hip Hop Championships, and placing 2nd at the 2008 Australian Hip Hop Championships. So get ready to rip up the dance floor….you’ve come to the right person to show you how it’s done. Vince will challenge you no matter what level you’re at…..GET READY TO BE INSPIRED! |
